I left the bicycle business in 1993 and I find it satisfying to know that bicycles I built back in the 1970s and 1980s are still being enjoyed by their owners. I must admit I do not miss the bicycle business, but I do miss the people. So for all bicycle enthusiasts, these next pages are for you.

I wish to thank those who have contributed to this bicycle section by sending me pictures and stories of their bikes. I hope you find these web pages entertaining, interesting, and useful in furthering your knowledge and enjoyment of cycling. It is my way of saying thank you to those who have supported me and my business in the past and continue to support my current creative endeavors. Please check back often as new material is always being added.

The content of these "Bicycle" pages may be reused without further permission providing credit is given to the author, and a link is placed to this website.

Your comments and ideas to improve these pages are always welcome.

Sincerely, Dave Moulton.

Read a synopsis of Prodigal Child.

If you are a bike enthusiast and especially if you own a bike I built, buy my book. You can order online Amazon.com or from any bookstore. Barnes & Noble have it stocked in their central warehouses,

Is it worth reading? You bet it is. Does anyone think after reaching the top of my profession as a framebuilder I would change careers and then embarrass myself and the people who admired my previous work by writing something  mediocre?

People, who have read this book, rave about it. James Winter a published author and book reviewer from Cincinnati, Ohio listed Prodigal Child as one of "five books that mean a lot to me," and vowed to read it once a year.

You don't read fiction? That's Okay; buy it as a conversation piece to go with your bike, and loan it to your friends who do read. They will thank you for it. Buy it as a gift for friends and family.

Blatant sales pitch? Yes, but writing is what I do now. Twenty five years ago as an unknown as a framebuilder in the United States I had to blatantly sell my frames. People who bought them were highly satisfied and thanked me. Many of those people still own those frames, others have since discovered them and continue to thank me.

If you would like a signed copy I will send you one for $23.95 and I will pay postage. Email me click here>...< for details.

Please enjoy the rest of the website. But don't forget to order the book before you leave.

Dave Moulton.
